The only mat you need is a Liforme mat. It is a mat I have wanted for a very long time after seeing several friends using them in body balance classes over the last couple of years. This is not an ad I bought this mat myself direct from Liforme.
I also loved that it came with a bag lol I had my previous mat for about 10 years and it had no grip and I kept slipping. This caused great amusement for the rest of the class.
I got the Liforme mat for my birthday and I loved using it. I ordered about a month before so I had to wait but it was well and truely worth the wait. It was perfect in every way. It has a great grip and I was’nt doing the splits every few seconds!!!!!!
My Liforme Mat
I used the Liforme mat on Thursday 14th November for the 1st time and used the alignment the whole time and felt my balance was better as I was more aligned. The mat was really comfortable to lay on too which is so important when doing yoga, Pilates and body balance. This mat has already made a huge difference to me as I am hyper flexible and this will allow me not to over extend and prevent myself from getting injuries. The only thing I wish was I had got this mat sooner.
I chose the grey mat as it is a great colour and it looks really smart. It does come in a variety of different colours including blue, purple ,green and pink so there is a colour for everyone. You could also get a travel mat that is lighter and cheaper but still offers the same alignment feature as the the Liforme mat.
Finally I really hope you have enjoyed reading this review of this amazing mat. If you would like to read the rest of my reviews please click on the link below.
Firstly I am always using bottles for gym and dance classes or grabbing takeaway coffees. I saw an advertisement for Hydro flask and it looked like just the perfect bottle for both purposes.
I contacted Hydro Flask to see if they would be interested in me reviewing their product in exchange for a free bottle. Abbie Baynes sent me a lovely email enquiring which bottle I would be interested in.
Different types of Lids
I researched all the different bottles and chose the hydro flask 21 ozs standard mouth as this would be ideal for coffees and cold drinks. After I had used the flex top for a few weeks and found it was perfect for hot drinks. Although I found it inconvenient for dance classes as I had to keep it loose and was concerned I may knock it over. Many of my gym friends know how clumsy I can be lol. I contacted Abbie Baynes and explained the situation and she immediately sent me the insulated sports top which was brilliant when exercising and much easier. I use this bottle all the time now as it is keeps drinks hot or cold.
Hydro flask offer excellent customer service and their products have been very impressive. I have been recommending to all my friends to try these products. The products came very quickly my mail. When using the hydro flask for hot drinks they will stay hot for an amazing 12 hours. Therefore this allowed me to enjoy my drink slowly and not have to rush drinking it. I am looking forward to using this bottle lots over the winter period. I may try taking soup for my lunch to have as alternative to sandwiches. The Hydro bottle is ideal for a number of different purposes for instance days outs, gym, work and my all time favourite hobby dance classes.
In conclusion If you thinking of buying a Hydro Flask get one you won’t regret it. There is a large choice of different bottles and sizes and food flasks. If you have any questions please send a comment.
First of all I was incredibly lucky to be sent a bite bag and 3 of their bars by Steve from Veloforte. The products are incredibly yummy and you only need 2 bites to boost your energy levels. These products are low in saturated fat, natural, gluten free, dairy free and no preservatives.
Di Bosco which has red berries, almonds, pistachios and rosemary and a few other ingredients
Classico which has citrus fruits, nuts and spices, almonds and honey.
Ciocco which has dates, almonds and cocoa
The bite bags had 15 bite-size pieces which were a generous amount, ideal for on the go and convenience.
I enjoyed all of the different flavours and found they kept me going for longer instead of having unhealthy food. My favourite flavour has to be the Di Bosco. I have the bite-size pieces as a snack at work which is just the perfect size. I also had the bite-sized bites after my dance classes to give me a boost.
These bars are great for long days cycling or walking but I found them too big for me. I would find them better to be half the size as another option.
Veloforte energy bars and bites arrived the next day which was so quick. I would like to say thank you so much for your fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend these products to everyone.

Today I did my 1st tennis lesson in a number of years and I survived I split the lesson with my Mum as the class was a 1hr 30 minutes and we both felt it was too long for either of us. We both did 45 mins each which was perfect.
I arrived and looked the part with my tennis bag and switched with my Mum. First of all my tennis lesson didn’t start very well when I got my squash racket out by mistake!!!! I bet the poor other players were thinking who is this crazy player with all the gear.
At the beginning of the lesson I was not hitting all the balls, but I was enjoying myself which was the main thing. I think if you enjoy a hobby you always work harder and get better. Unfortunately in one game I nearly knocked one player out but he ducked his head at just the right time. Poor man. I nearly knocked the coach as well. Apart from that, I had some good shots. !!!!!
To conclude my lesson I realise I need to practice hitting the balls lower and keeping my ball in the court I am playing on and not the court next door. I need to get my serve a little stronger and more consistent which will come with games of tennis.
I hope you enjoy reading this blog. If you have any any amusing tennis stories please comment on the link below.
This blog is all about Asics Noosa FF. My current ones were starting to lose the tread on the bottom of the sole. I was concerned, I may fall over lol. I looked at Asics as I have had these trainers for my last two pairs, they are so comfy and work very well for what I use them for which is dance classes.
While researching I found a pair of Asics Noosa FF and loved the colour combination which is prune/glacier sea/rouge red. I compared the price and found the prices varied considerably. I went on Wiggle and saw they price matched so went onto their online chat and mentioned I found it on a competitor’s site for £49.99. They honoured that price as well as free delivery and free returns. The savings I made was £ 33.01.
Wiggle was so helpful and explained clearly what I had to write on the ordering system. I ordered the trainers on Wednesday evening, and they arrived on Saturday which was incredibly quick.
Asics Noosa are brilliant for me. I have narrow feet, and they support my feet compared to other brands. They also have bright colours which I love. I am really looking forward to wearing these in my next class on Monday and even considering buying a second pair in a different colour.
In March this year I attended Move it in London. I was given a free sports bra as part of the VIP goody bag. It is an Dansez original minimal bounce bra. I was really impressed with the quality of this sport’s bra and is my most comfortable one. They offered a choice of 3 different colours and different sizes. Before attending Move It I had not heard of this Dansez. I will definitely be ordering more stuff from this fantastic company. The staff at Dansez were very friendly and helpful on sizing. They had sports tops, leggings and variety of different sports bras. I am incredibly lucky to have two Fitbits the Fitbit flex 2 and the Fitbit charge 2.
I would highly recommend both Fitbit’s they both have their positives and I use both of them equally.
The Fitbit charge 2 is used when I participate in my dance classes as it records more detailed information on my heart rate for example fat burn, cardio and peak and how many minutes of each. It can also detect what sort of activity I am doing for example aerobic, walking, cycling. I love how the charge 2 tells you if you have a text message, phone call, calendar events. It also records your active minutes. The charge 2 records the different stages of sleep which is really useful.
While the Fitbit flex 2 does not offer the heart rate options it is a slim and offers the steps, distance, calories and sleep but not as detailed as the charge 2. It is great option for me as it is discreet. I wear this one for work as its smaller and no screen so no chance it will get scratched. When I can’t wear this on my wrist at work I use a go travel body wallet.
